What started as an intimate performance resulted in a complete live album. Together with my guitarist Daniël Tanate (dobro and guitar) and Johan Stolk (Them Dirty Dimes, mandoline and banjo) I stripped nine songs to their core: just voices and strings. We played them for our long time fans and happenstance visitors in the cafe slash studio Het Rode Hert (The Red Deer) close to our hometown Groningen, NL. The result was supposed to be a bootleg CD for those who were there.

But when we heard the recordings we knew this was supposed to go out into the world. That's why I released it on a proper CD and limited edition vinyl: Live at Het Rode Hert. Streaming everywhere and and for sale here.

🌿 I try to keep things as green and fair as possible. This vinyl was pressed CO2-neutral at the Deepgrooves Vinyl Plant.
